Trini is a puppy mill puppy from Connecticut. Her parents bought her in a pet store, but "she wasn't what we expected." Angels of the Snow rescued her, and a Cape Cod couple adopted her in August, 2000.

Timber was bought from a backyard breeder by an elderly couple that meant well but weren't prepared for such an active dog. An Angels of the Snow volunteer adopted "Timmy" who now enjoys the company of other rescues Nikita and Carlie.

Wolf (l.) is a rescue from Maine. Little Red Mustache was rescued by Angels of the Snow.

Wofie survived kennel cough. He was scheduled to be put down because of overcrowding when Angels of the Snow came to his rescue.

Angels of the Snow rescued Sam, a 9-month old Sibe/Saint mix from a Massachusetts shelter. The SiberExpress swung into action and safely delivered him to his new parents in August, 2002.

Josie's dad writes: I really cannot say enough about how sweet and gentle she is. She's more laid back than your average Siberian, but she's very affectionate. Best estimates on Josie's age is 3-4 years. She came to us earlier this year (2002) with heartworms and glaucoma. After ridding her of the heartworms, we had her spayed and the doctor removed her right eye. She was very thin and also very quiet at first. We couldn't get a word out of her, but her sweet and affectionate personality were evident from the start. She quickly bonded with my mother who is home with her often. She has responded well to mom's affection (as well as her cooking), and has come out of her shell. She will become fast friends with anyone who will give her an ear or belly rub. She is great with people of all ages and loves to be petted, even by strangers who tell her how pretty she is when we're out walking. She has put on some weight, and has become very outspoken, especially around dinner time.
