The Curtis Clan gathers to play in the first snow of the season and to celebrate the awarding of Akki's Canine Good Citizenship certificate while Boz looks on. Zack is the family's latest addition; like a true Siberian, he loves the snow.
The Blizzard of '05
Photos from this weekend's record-setting blizzard are starting to pour in. The first ones are of Yuki, who was overheard to exclaim, "Whoa, momma. Lookit all that bleepin' white stuff!"
Kiska, on the left, jumped into a snowbank and disappeared!!! He was NOT happy about that so he stayed to the paths that his daddy made around the yard. One of the pictures is him next to a tree where the snow wasn't as deep. The big baby!! It was snowing pretty hard then so the picture looks fuzzy. Vila, on the right, at least had enough sense to wait until the storm had passed before going out to play.

The latest addition to the family.
Speaking of new additions, Layla is in training for the arrival of a human sibling later this month. For now, though, she's right at home in the snow.
It wasn't exactly the Blizzard of '05, but it was still the Winter of '05. Tara enjoys the snow while Picasso prefers to curl up with a bone.
When the snow stopped falling and the sun came out, so did Bruin, Kimi, Tucker, and Nikki. "Oh, boy, time to play!"
