A Day at the Lake Siberians spend a day at Wiley Park. Top, Maxcey wades, Akki does the dog paddle, and Trini tries the butterfly. Middle, Akki swims to Bill, and the girls try to coax Boz into deeper water. Bottom, Time to re-energize at Ben & Jerry's. Thanks to Joy for the great photos.
Shadow poses for a farewell picture with Timmy, and then does the same with her new Mom and Dad.
Nicki keeps Amanda company and then stretches out for a nap on her new front lawn.
They have a way of growing, don't they? There's nothing quite so appealing in a picture as a little girl and her Siberian.
Mary writes: Taz/Tesha is doing fine. It's like she's always been here. She acts as though she owns the place: She explains the rules to Misha, she lets people sit on her couch, and she gives Dad lessons in sharing his popcorn. If there's one thing I would tell people it's to give special needs dogs a chance, because they won't be disappointed. Taz has been everything I could have wanted and more.
Nikki and her new packmates. Look, they've all got blue eyes!
A little obedience training can go a long way toward turning a dog into a pet. Zoey's Mom writes: We completed obedience class last week, not quite with honors, but we did alright. Zoey did everything great until the stay. We needed to do 1 minute, but were lucky to get maybe 20 seconds. (That's not bad for a Siberian.)
"My daughter and I went out today and we took Bailey for a ride with us. That's Amy with Bailey on the left. Bailey has settled in like she's been here all her life. My three daughters at home and my husband have already grown to love her. I've never seen so many hugs and kisses in all my life! Thank you for completing our family!"
