Angels of the Snow is a non-profit
organization that helps find loving homes for stray, abandoned, abused,
disabled, or otherwise homeless Siberian Husky dogs. We are located in
Eastern Massachusetts on Cape Cod, about a hundred miles from Boston. Our
dogs come from all over the northeast, but mostly from Massachusetts.
Our mission is to give homeless Siberian Huskies
a second chance at life by matching their needs with the needs - and
capabilities - of their prospective human caretakers. If our policies seem
strict it is only because we are attempting to place each dog in an environment
where our experience tells us that owners and pets can thrive together.
We require prospective owners to meet both the
pet and us. If the owner's application is approved, we require a home
inspection. We require a minimum donation of $250-$350, depending on
health and circumstances. All animals are altered, vaccinated, and
tested heartworm negative prior to permanent placement.
For the future protection of each
Siberian, we
require that every pet carry an ID tag, that it be maintained in good health,
and that it be cared for in a kind, loving home. Any attempt to sell or
otherwise modify custody of the Siberian will result in ownership reverting back to
Angels of the Snow. If these requirements are not met, we
reserve the right to reclaim the Siberian without hearing or debate.
